Hard boil the eggs. Shell them. Boil potatoes, mash them, mix well with chilli powder, garam masala, coriander leaves and salt. Make a thick batter with besan, salt and water. Make balls out of mashed potato and stuff the eggs inside. Soak bread slices in salted water, squeeze well, and put around the potato covering. Dip the balls in besan batter. Deep fry in oil till brown. Slice the scotch egg with sharp knife. Serve with salad and mint chutney. |
