Coconut Scrapings

1 Cup

Turmeric

Garlic

1 Flake

Onion

One (Small)

Jeera

A pinch

Curry Leaves

1 Sprig

Salt

Cut the tapioca into small pieces  in a pan, with water just covering them. Add salt to it.  Boil it till it is cooked (becomes soft). Crush all the other ingredients. Strain water from tapioca. Add the masala to the tapioca and cover to cook it on low fire for 3 minutes. Serve hot with fish or meat curry.
